On the 26th October 1994, the European Communities adopted the "The European Directive 94/47/EC of the European Parliament and Council on the protection of purchasers in respect of certain aspects of contracts relating to the purchase of the right to use immovable properties on a timeshare basis". It is known as "The Timeshare Law".

The Directive was passed into law in Spain on 16th December 1998. If you purchased Timeshare in Spain after that date you may have a valid claim.

Timeshare Law have a legal team who are experts in bringing cases against timeshare companies who have ignored or tried to "get around" the above law, which was brought into force specifically to protect the interests of consumers who receive often lengthy and "high-pressure" presentations at timeshare resorts in Spain.

It can seem very daunting to bring a case against a timeshare company based in another country but Timeshare Law has been set up to make the process easy and stress free. After your initial visit, our legal team will work under a notarised Power of Attorney on your behalf so that you do not need to travel again to bring your case. All documentation and official translation is handled by us - you simply need to provide the documents for your timeshare and your statement, we do everything else.
